Protect hair from the heat with Paul Mitchell Hot Off The Press Thermal Protection Spray from our styling collection. Use the ion flat iron on one- to two-inch sections at a time for fine to medium hair. For thick, coarse, curly, or wavy hair, use on one-inch sections.
To straighten: Hold the flat iron horizontally and slowly glide it down each section from roots to ends.
To curl: Hold the hair straightener for curls vertically and glide it through hair, winding the hair away from the face to create a single curl. Add tension the same way you would when you curl a ribbon.
